Acrylic on 18mm board - painted edges - 2' x 4' and multiples of that up to 4' x 8' - portrait or landscape plus commissions inc. featured large triptych installation in Portugal - backlit - acrylic on perspex - all from the 'Light on the Horizon' series.

IN THIS SERIES OF PAINTINGS I WANTED TO BE A WING FOR A JOURNEY AWAY FROM TROUBLED TIMES TO A PLACE WHERE IMAGINATION IS UNENCUMBERED BY THOUGHTS OF EVERYDAY THINGS - A PLACE FOR PEACEFUL REFLECTION AND RENEWAL OF THE SPIRITS - A PLACE OF DREAMS.

THE LIGHT ON THE HORIZON IS OUR HOPE - THE LOOKING OUT FROM THE ANCHOR OF LAND OUR BELIEF IN OURSELVES OUR INSPIRATION AND THE INEVITABILITY OF TOMORROW AND A NEW DAWN OUR COMFORT.
